- serve:
- A spirit inspired by a cucumber sandwich was always going to lead with the vegetable, but rose is also a loud presence in Hendrick’s Gin. While we prefer it with an orange peel, it would just feel wrong not to serve this with a cucumber garnish.
- process:
- Hendrick’s uses two still types – Pot stills which produce heavy, oily flavours and Carter Head stills, which produce lighter spirits through vapour infusion. The two spirits are blended after distillation with further essences added thereafter.
- people:
- Hendrick’s Gin was created by William Grant and Sons in 1999. The brand saw a gap in the market and knew that the two people best placed to fill it were their Malt Master David Stewart and Distiller Leslie Gracie.
- place:
- William Grant is a hugely famous name in distilling, though it's certainly more known in the Whisky world. Still, they’ve aced the gin, with Hendrick’s and all its variations met with rapturous applause.
